Interested in becoming a steward for the Watershed? There are many ways you can give back to the communities and places you love! A new way of giving back to your favorite 501(c)(3) organizations is Amazon Smile. Now you can help support the environment (and others) while shopping at home! Simply start an Amazon Smile account. Select the organization of your choosing and a small percentage of all the money you spend will go to that organization! Awesome right? So if you would like to see more volunteers, less trash, and more innovative new projects along Oak Creek, you now have yet another way to give back by setting up your Amazon Smile account, and selecting to support the Oak Creek Watershed Council. Only takes a minute and you only have to do it once. Thank you for helping us keep a watchful eye over the watershed. We couldn't do it without you, cheers! Hey Everyone! Just a reminder that we are having a public clean up with the Rotary Club of Sedona Village, at 9am on Monday, May 29th. We will meet at the Baldwin Trailhead (all the way down Verde Valley School Rd.) and clean up to beautiful Crescent Moon. One of the most picturesque, and photographed areas in the world! Stewards, mark your calendars, this will be a fun one!
We will be meeting at the Baldwin Trail parking lot at the end of Verde Valley School Road. We will walk along the creek cleaning up trash. The OCWC will provide buckets, trash pickers, gloves, reflective vests, and trash bags. Please bring water and comfortable shoes as we will be hiking along the creek.
